Annual Report 2022

Dear Donors, Sponsors, Volunteers, Friends, and Family,

On behalf of the Bali Life Foundation, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the immense support you have extended to us in 2022. Your generosity has enabled us to run all of our projects, which have impacted the lives of many underprivileged children and families in Bali.

We are extremely grateful for your unwavering commitment to our cause. Your donations, sponsorships, and volunteering efforts have played a significant role in ensuring that we can continue to provide essential services to those who need them the most.

We understand that your support is not only financial but also emotional, as many of you have given your time, energy, and resources to ensure that our projects are successful. Without your support, we would not be able to achieve our mission of helping those in need and making a positive impact in Bali.

Your contributions have helped us provide education, healthcare, nutrition, and shelter to many underprivileged children and families in Bali. We have also been able to create employment opportunities, provide vocational training, and empower women to become financially independent.

We are humbled by your kindness and generosity and encouraged by your continued support for our cause. Your contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of those we serve. We hope that you will continue to support us in the coming years and help us create a better future for the underprivileged in Bali.

Once again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and dedication to our mission. We are grateful to have you as part of the Bali Life Foundation family.

Warm regards,
Piter & Lyna Panjaitan

Daycare & Kindy Centre

  • What a great year 2022 was. Our reputation for quality and convenience continued to carry us through this year.  Bali Life Daycare and Kindy maintained an occupancy rate of 95% averaged over the year.
  • We have a full and healthy waiting list for all classes and in some classes we have had to close the waiting list as too many families were waiting.
  • Our staff team has stayed at 22 permanent staff with an additional 2 staff employed in the second semester for our most popular age groups.
  • March 2022 saw us add a large wooden play gym structure to the back playground which has seen many many hours of enjoyment and individual physical challenges met. This equipment has helped us build gross motor development of all children both under 2 years and up until our oldest 6year olds.
  • Our Kindy classes completed their first accreditation with a great result of B+. We endeavor that the next accreditation in 3 years time will reach a new level of excellence.
  • Our Kindy friends explored more of Bali, her culture with various day trips to different places around the southern end of the island. This included the children learning Balinese dance, a visit to Puji Madala – 5 places of worship and a day trip to Teba Majalangu to close out the learning themes of Semester 1.
  •  In June 2022 we had 16 children graduate and move into local or international schools, or return to their home country. We were so proud of the efforts of our Kindy teachers who helped the children through a very tricky year.
Learn how to thrive in this new world. BaliLife Daycare & Kindy was able to sponsor 4 of these children to complete their Kindergarten Education. Some of our graduates started with us when they were just years old. We are so happy to see them grow into responsible and kind young people.
  • Our Christmas concerts were a huge success with families enjoying the festive season and their children’s mid year performance.
  • We have been blessed again to continue Training with Little Miracles in Australia using the Zoom platform, allowing us to have more regular training. Staff have had time to apply what they have learnt, showing the results and receiving feedback. Thank you again Little Miracles Team for your hard work and dedication to the improvement of our staff and centre.
